Lady Flames,

The Blackman high school soccer team wishes to invite the Blackman middle
school eighth grade soccer players to attend a "Welcome to the BHS soccer "
ceremony October 4th, at the Blackman vs. Lebanon game @ 7:00pm.
I realize this is during fall break and some of you may not be able to attend, but we need as
many girls as we can get.
It will take place before the game which starts at 7:00pm @ BHS football
field. Girls are requested to be there no later than 6:15pm so Mrs. Zeiz
(Brooke's mom) can get everyone ready.
Wear your uniforms (orange socks & sweat bands).
You can also help the high school team by being ball girls for the game.
Please let Mrs.Zeiz know if you can attend ASAP at litehousefreak@comcast.net
or call her @ 890-7124.
It is important you responded to her weather you go or don't go.

Thanks All

Season's End

I'm sorry say the Lady Flames' season has come to an end with a disappointing loss to Rocky Springs (4-1). I think this has been the best game yet, you girls really came together as a team last night all the parents were very proud.

I will miss the team and all that goes with it. I really had a good time.

You girls have done a tremendous job this year everyone has given their all. With the experience and talent of 6th & 7th grade girls have I'm sure you'll go even further next year.

8th grade girls I hope to see each one of you next year in high school picking up where you left off BLAZING a trail for BHS.

It has been an honor

Smyrna Rotary Soccer Park

The Conference Tournament this year will be held at the Smyrna Rotary Soccer Park.

To help you with your planning, here is the schedule for the tournament:
Tuesday, Sept 25th: 2 games @ 4:00 PM, 2 games @ 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Sept 26th: 1 game @ 4:00 PM, 1 game @ 6:00pm.
Thursday, Sept 27th: Finals @ 6:00 pm.

This is a single elimination tournament. If we win, we play the next day.
All games will be on fields B or C. A tournament bracket will be sent out closer to the end of the season. There will be no gate fees, the costs for referees and trophies will be split among all the teams. There will be concessions available at the games.

Much better scheduling of the tournament this year instead of the regular Thursday, Friday & Saturday. This will allow families to start their fall break vacations on time.

Thanks and Go Flames

MTSU Lady Raiders vs. Mississippi State

WOW! I was amazed at the talent on Lady Raiders
soccer team, they where great.
The Raiders took on Mississipi State winning 5-4 in the last minute
of play.
All the girls that went learned a little about their
position while having a good time hanging out with each other.

Brooke Zeis, Hailie Simms & Kaitlyn Noffsinger
names were drawn to participate in the half time
program. Since Brooke was on crutches and
could not play Kayla Taylor took her place. Each girl had
a chance to kick 3 soccer balls onto 3 different shirts if they
land on a ball they win that shirt. unfortunately none of the
girls won, but they still had a good time trying.
